"WOW …. What can I say about the best realtor that I know?  DeeAnna Greenwood is a step above and beyond everyone I have ever met.

The story you are about to read is not the typical one by far, but you will see why she is the best as far as we are concerned.  She helped my husband and me through every step of the way for purchasing our new home here in Port Orange.  We were looking to relocate from Connecticut and had a very short time line to do any house hunting (a whole 2 days).  Before we got here she got us together with a lender and had our pre-approval in hand.  DeeAnna knew what we were looking for, the price range we were approved for and had the day trips lined up for us to go looking at houses. 

The first day we went through what seemed like 20 but was more like 8 or 9, and the second day 5 or 6.  We found our dream house, signed the contract and returned to Connecticut ready to do what needed to be done.  I wish I could honestly say at this point that that’s the end of the story but it is not.  Like I said it was not the typical relocation at all. 

The sale of my house in Connecticut fell through at the last minute, she went to the seller and bargained for an extension for us, he originally agreed to it then broke his contract and pulled his home off the market, DeeAnna had to start looking all over again for us.  Through emails (because another trip just was not feasible) she showed us what was available, I sent her out she came back emailed me pictures and sometimes I sent her back out again.  We found one again and went to contract.  Mind you we never stepped foot in this house, we trusted her, her knowledge and expertise to do the right thing and she did.

Well unfortunately my story does not end there, when we arrived in town in Aug of 2004, it was 4 days before our scheduled closing and Hurricane Francis was heading our way.  The title office was closing up for the day we were scheduled to close, we couldn’t do it a day earlier because of the day we were bound for on our insurance, the mover arrived with our household goods and wanted to get out of the state because of the then category 5 hurricane was just a few days away.  I had been in constant contact with DeeAnna the whole 48 hours we had been in town for at that point, everything we tried to do, just couldn’t be done because it was not within any of our powers.  DeeAnna was able to secure the very last storage unit in the City of Port Orange for us, and as we were watching our household goods be moved into the unit, the phone call came from our son who was back at the hotel.  They were evacuating the shores and now we were seriously homeless.  We had money, just not a home to call our own.

Well we called DeeAnna and gave her the latest update, and we told her that we were going to go back up to my sisters house in North Carolina, and then come back down after the storm cleared.  At that time DeeAnna did something that I never heard of in all my life.  She opened up her home to me, my husband, our son the cat and the dog, and put us up for 11 days until she could push everybody to the table for the closing.

Like I said head and shoulders about the rest, that is how we feel about the best realtor this town has ever seen."
